Cats! Cats! Cats!

My younger son is obsessed with cats.  He can spot a cat from a moving car no matter how far away it is.  Sadly, my older son and I are both extremely allergic to cats.  I looked into getting allergy shots, but the allergist informed me that shots for animal allergies are not very effective.  Therefore, we will never be getting a cat.  Despite my allergy, I have a fondness for cats (as long as they keep their distance) so I have just finished drawing a series of cats for my polymer clay jewellery.

It can be a bit tricky to make anything with cats that isn't too cute; to me, these manage to be cute yet also quirky and interesting.  Now I need to transfer them to polymer clay and make some necklaces!
